Do you love adventure? Then, you should visit the mountain highway in south-west China. For sure, it offers, a challenging drive through the mountains. Interestingly, the winding road in Yiliang, Kunming city has 68 hairpins spanning across a distance of 6.3 kilometres (3.9 miles) along a mountain ridge.
For the construction of the road, residents and local authorities invested 1.35 million (£154,000) in 1995. It was built to connect the villages of Jinxing and Jinganshao in the county.
It was first opened to traffic in July 1995 but has now the zigzagging mountain road turned into a scenic spot for many curious tourists.
