Amid the growing protests and violence, 51 women under the age group of 50 years have successfully entered the Sabarimala temple. This was informed by the Kerala government to the Supreme Court of India.

The government advocate also revealed that over 7,500 women who are aged below 50 years have applied online for Sabarimala temple visit. After Kanakadurga, one among the first women to enter Sabarimala sought police protection after beaten by her mother-in-law, Supreme Court ordered Kerala government to provide 24-hour security.
