On Friday night, a plane was stolen from Seattle-Tacoma airport before being intercepted by fighter jets and crashing in front of stunned witnesses.
According to Alaska Airlines, a Horizon airlines Q400 turboprop aircraft took off from the airport without authorization.
There were no passengers aboard the plane.
The airport said an airline employee conducted an authorized takeoff before crashing in south Puget Sound.
As per the Washington sheriff’s department said the pilot may have been a mechanic who crashed the plane on Ketron Island after appearing to perform stunts in air.
