BSP leader loses his post for remarks on Rahul Gandhi

His personal remarks on Congress president turned too costly for BSP leader Jai Prakash Singh. A day after he pitched Mayawati as the next PM candidate in the 2019 polls, and Rahul Gandhi is unfit for the post, he lost his post in the party.

Mayawati took his remarks seriously and removed him from posts of party vice-president and national coordinator.

“I came to know about BSP National Coordinator Jai Prakash Singh’s speed in which he made personal remarks against the leadership of rival parties. It is his personal opinion and against the party’s ideology. He has been removed from his post with immediate effect,” announced Mayawati.

During BSP coordinators’ meeting in Lucknow, Jai Prakash Singh stated that Rahul Gandhi was unfit for being the PM of India due to his mother’s foreign origin. During the meeting, he also announced that behenji, as Mayawati is popularly known, will be projected as India’s first Dalit Prime Minister to the run-up to Lok Sabha polls. He claimed that Modi will be defeated by Mayawati.
