Cash crunch is temporary, assures Arun Jaitley

Even after over a year of ‘Demonetization’, the woes still continue to haunt. India is facing the cash crunch as most of the ATMs in the country are seen with ‘No cash’ boards.

However, the finance minister Arun Jaitley assured that cash crunch is temporary and will be resolved very soon. “Have reviewed the currency situation in the country. Overall, there is more than the adequate currency in circulation and also available with the banks”. “The temporary shortage caused by ‘sudden and unusual’ increase in some areas is being tackled quickly,” tweeted Arun Jaitley.

Reacting to Arun Jaitely’s assurance, the Telangana IT minister KTR reminded Arun Jaitley that cash crunch is not temporary as the people have been facing the problem for over 3 months and requested to solve it once for all.
