The opening of IKEA store made headlines in the country as people thronged to take a look at the showroom in Hyderabad. Now, yet again, the store landed in news and on Twitter as a customer claimed he found a caterpillar in the in-house restaurant of the store.
A customer named Abeed Mohammad took to Twitter to complain about finding a caterpillar in the vegetable biryani served to him.
He also alerted and tagged the police of Hyderabad, Telangana Minister for Municiapl Administration and Urban Development K T Rama Rao in his post.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) issued a notice to the firm and also imposed a fine of Rs. 11,500 for flouting norms related to waste segregation and use of plastic covers. Food safety officials also visited the store and collected food samples.
