Kerala woman Kanakadurga, who scripted history after entering the Sabarimala temple, has been asked not to return to her husband’s house in Malappuram.

The 39-year-old woman, who had been undergoing treatment at Calicut medical college after allegedly being attacked by her mother-in-law, was taken to the government shelter home at Perinthalmanna after her brother and husband declared that she won’t be allowed to enter their houses.

She filed a complaint with the district violence protection officer and has been shifted to a government shelter home with police protection.

She became one of the first women to step inside the Sabarimala Temple’s inner sanctum.
