Karnataka 2018 elections: Kannadigas favored Congress

Though the BJP had dramatically surged ahead towards the victory mark in the Karnataka Assembly polls, leaving the ruling Congress badly bruised, the official records say that most Kannadigas voted in favor of Congress.
Here is the detailed voting percentage by the Election Commission

Out of the 224 constituencies in Karnataka, elections were held only for 22 constituencies.
