Andhra Pradesh which is on its way to developing into a world-class city had topped the list of states in ease-of-doing-business rankings for the second year in a row. Interestingly, Andhra Pradesh had dominated its neighbor and rival state Telangana by topping the list and pushing Telangana to second place. Haryana and Jharkhand have moved up three slots each, to be ranked third and fourth in the state rankings. Gujarat has slid two slots to the fifth position. The other states that make up the top nine, described as the top achievers, are Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, and Rajasthan.
Though a large number of states have made significant progress in reforms suggested in BRAP 2017,” sadly, Delhi wasn’t one of them. It has slipped four slots from the 19 to 23 rank, with 32 percent marks.
Uttar Pradesh (93 percent), Bihar (82 percent) and militancy-hit Jammu and Kashmir (33 percent) had scored better than Delhi with 32 percent marks.
With both AP and Telangana topping the lists with 1 & 2 respectively, Lokesh and KTR congratulated each other. While KTR congratulated AP for topping the list, Lokesh replied saying there’s 1&2 number game, and happy that Telugu states have done something commendable.
We missed the 1st spot in EODB rankings 2018 by a whisker; 0.09%
Nevertheless, inspirational leadership from @TelanganaCMO Garu & good work by our bureaucracy has resulted in a good rank this year too?

Congratulations to you too . There's no "One and Two". There's only "Telugu states at the top". All for the good of Telugu people. https://t.co/I7jM1944OZ
