NASA has revealed a good bunch of stunning close-ups of Jupiter. The pictures include swirling gas clouds and raging storms. NASA’s Juno probe has captured the images suing its on-board camera called JunoCam.

Juno was launched on August 5, 2011 before entering a polar orbit of the planet in July, 2016.

The astronomers always intrigued by the Jupiter’s Great Red Spot. It was observed for the first time with certainty 150 years ago, shows up through the telescope owing to its reddish colour against the white, yellowish, ochre clouds contrasting with the rest of the planet.
