Parliament to be adjourned indefinitely due to AP effect?

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, who is closely observing the Parliament proceedings, is guiding the TDP MPs on how to proceed with the protest for AP special status. In a teleconference with both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs from TDP on Wednesday morning, the CM asked the MPs to intensify the protest. He warned them that the Central government might try to hurriedly finish discussions on the finance bill and adjourn the Parliament indefinitely, and asked the MPs to raise the issue of AP special status and funds even during the discussions on the financial bill. He further told the MPs that none of them must absent themselves from the proceedings of the House and asked them to ensure that the AP people’s concerns were strongly conveyed in the Houses.

Chandrababu Naidu further condemned Central Minister Piyush Goel for not giving an appointment to the TDP MPs, while making time for the YCP. Chandrababu asked why the BJP was treating its ally in this manner and demanded to know if the BJP’s ally was the TDP or the YCP. He further declared that it was unfair that the Centre refused to respond to AP’s problems and asked the MPs to intensify the protest incrementally.
