Script writer Ravi Shankar Alok commits suicide

A 32-year-old script writer Ravi Shankar Alok committed suicide in Mumbai. According to police, he was a resident of Seven Bungalows area in Andheri West and ended his life by jumping off from the roof of the building where he lived at around 2 pm on Wednesday.
He was reportedly involved in the writing of Nana Patekar’s “Ab Tak Chhappan” and also worked with Ram Gopal Varma in his films as an assistant director.

The police added that there is no suicide note on his body or in his house.
Police further stated that he was suffering from depression and was undergoing psychiatric treatment.
