NASA has successfully accomplished many projects throughout its 60 year history and also captured many pictures of planets and asteroids. Now, these accomplishments have been put together in a new book featuring more than 400 images from its archives.

Speaking to New Scientist, Piers Bizony, the book’s author and editor said, “Of course, many of the well-known shots were too beautiful to leave out, but we also wanted plenty of lesser-known images, so there was a big effort to delve into obscure archives.”

Mr Bizony added, “The fact remains that we cannot relocate 7 billion people. Earth has to be our priority in terms of securing a successful future for humanity.”
