As the Andhra Pradesh finished the polling for Assembly and Lok Sabha yesterday, both the TDP, YSRCP and Jana Sena exuded the confidence of forming the next government in the state and winning a majority of Lok Sabha seats.
Apart from the government, there’s huge suspense prevailed on a few constituencies. The Jana Sena is highly confident of winning in Gajuwaka, and Bheemavaram where Pawan Kalyan contested.
According to the locals, Jana Sena will surely win in these constituencies as both YSRCP, and TDP have almost lost their confidence and fielded ordinary candidates there.
On the other hand, Vishakapatnam’s Lok Sabha constituency too came under hot debate as the former IPS officer VV Lakshminarayana has been contesting from the same constituency. Though he is facing stiff competition from Balakrishna’s son-in-law for TDP, NTR’s daughter from BJP, and businessman MVV Satyanarayana from YSRCP, Laxminarayana has the edge because of his clean image as an IPS officer.
The Mangalagiri constituency which has never been favorite for TDP has also led to debate. Though TDP has been losing here for the past 30 years, Chandrababu Naidu has fielded his son Lokesh from Mangalagiri after the party’s intelligence report said people are in favor of TDP. Though Chandrababu Naidu’s win from Kuppam seems inevitable, Lokesh’s win from Mangalagiri still remains a big doubt.
